Course Description

The MCIOA Certificate of English for Health Professionals (OET) is designed to improve the four (4) macro skills of reading, writing, listening & speaking with a focus on the Occupational English Test. This course is designed to assist in mastering the skills required for the OET Test, working in an English speaking healthcare setting or those seeking career progression in an English speaking environment. Our certificate course is suitable for the following 12 health & allied health professions: dentistry, dietetics, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiography, speech pathology & veterinary science. Our course is a OET Preparation Course and is suitable for those who have never taken the OET test before.

Our Fees:

Tuition Inclusions: $400 Lectures and accredited certificate of completion

Admissions, service and materials fee: $200 Student workbooks, handouts, Wi-Fi and use of library

MCIOA provides complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits for all students

Duration: 5 Days

Course Delivery Modes:

Students will participate in lectures, tutorials, one on one assessment and mock exams each day

Entry Requirements:

Previous OET Test Results + Interview with the institute Principal

Admissions Dates:

This course is conducted during the week of the Occupational English Test. If the test day is on a Saturday, classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday and if the test is on a Sunday, your classes will be conducted from Tuesday to Saturday. Please check with the institute prior to admissions.
