English Language Training /General English / ESL Program

The English Language Training program is designed to improve the four macro skills of reading, writing, listening & speaking. You’ll be communicating in English in as little as six (6) weeks. MCIOA is offering programs from Beginner through to Advanced levels. Students are given a weekly progress test.

Classes and Levels:  

Beginner English, Intermediate English, Upper Intermediate English and Advanced English

Program Content:

  • reading for work or pleasure using a range of mediums such as books, magazines, newspapers, letters, internet, movies, etc.
  • awareness of colloquial & idiomatic English
  • grammar & vocabulary development
  • lists of useful language & explanations of all language points
  • speaking using correct tone, diction, fluency, accuracy & volume
  • pronunciation & appropriate language for when dealing with people in all contexts
  • functional language in everyday English
  • writing for journals, personal pleasure, work, study, etc.
  • listening to the news, listening in conversation, listening for key information, etc
